경제신문 개인정보 처리방침

이 문서는 현재 com.thirdtype.businessnews 앱에서 실제로 확인되는 데이터 처리와 외부 제공자 역할을 설명합니다. 앱의 동작이나 제공자 정책이 바뀌면 이 문서도 함께 갱신합니다.

어떤 서비스에 적용되나요?

이 방침은 앱 이름이 경제신문인 Android 앱(패키지명 com.thirdtype.businessnews)과 앱에서 사용하는 피드·광고·결제 기능에 적용됩니다. 오래된 다른 앱이나 과거의 웹 문서를 대신하지 않습니다.

경제신문은 별도의 회원가입·로그인·사용자 계정 기능을 제공하지 않습니다. 별도 분석 SDK도 포함되어 있지 않으며, 팔로우 키워드와 읽기 기록을 개발자 서버로 보내도록 구현되어 있지 않습니다.

1. 범위와 계정 구조

이 방침은 경제신문 앱과 앱의 피드·광고·알림·결제 기능에 적용됩니다. 경제신문은 별도 계정 없이 기기 안에서 독자 설정을 관리하는 구조이며, 이 문서의 데이터 처리 설명은 현재 앱 구현을 기준으로 합니다.

2. 처리하는 정보와 이용 목적

앱은 다음 정보를 주로 기기 안에서 처리하여 뉴스 표시, 동기화, 읽기 상태와 알림 설정을 제공합니다.

뉴스 기사 RSS 피드에서 받은 출처·제목·설명 또는 본문 발췌·외부 링크·이미지 링크·게시 시각과 앱이 가져온 시각을 저장합니다. 뉴스 목록과 상세 화면을 제공하고 오래된 항목을 정리하기 위한 것입니다.
읽기 및 개인 설정 읽음·별표 상태, 숨긴 출처, 팔로우 키워드, 선택한 키워드, 키워드 알림 켜기/끄기 상태를 저장합니다. 원하는 뉴스와 알림을 맞추기 위한 정보입니다.
동기화·설정 캐시 마지막으로 정상 확인한 피드 설정, ETag, 마지막 동기화 시각과 오류 상태를 SharedPreferences에 저장하여 네트워크가 잠시 끊겨도 마지막 정상 설정을 사용합니다.
프리미엄 상태 Google Play 결제 조회 결과에 따른 프리미엄 상태를 앱에서 사용하고 상품 표시용 가격을 화면에 표시합니다. 이 정보는 결제 권한을 확인하고 동기화 주기·광고 표시를 결정하기 위한 것입니다.

3. 기기 안의 저장·보관·삭제

기사 데이터는 Android 앱 전용 저장영역의 Room 데이터베이스에, 설정과 상태는 SharedPreferences에 저장됩니다. 읽은 기사는 게시 시각 기준 7일이 지나면, 읽지 않은 기사는 30일이 지나면 자동 정리됩니다. 별표한 기사는 이 자동 정리에서 제외되며, 별표를 해제하거나 앱 데이터를 지우기 전까지 남을 수 있습니다.

사용자는 앱의 설정에서 키워드·출처·알림 선택을 바꿀 수 있습니다. 기기에 저장된 데이터 전체를 즉시 삭제하려면 Android 설정에서 경제신문의 앱 저장공간을 지우거나 앱을 삭제하세요. 앱 삭제 후 데이터가 항상 즉시 사라진다고 단정하지 않는 이유는 아래의 Android 백업이 적용될 수 있기 때문입니다.

4. RSS와 원격 피드 설정

앱은 뉴스 제공자가 공개한 RSS 피드와 개발자가 운영하는 공개 피드-설정 엔드포인트를 요청합니다. 피드 서버·네트워크 사업자는 요청을 처리하는 과정에서 IP 주소, 요청 시각, User-Agent와 같은 일반적인 요청 메타데이터를 받을 수 있습니다. 이 메타데이터의 수집·보관·이용은 각 서버와 제공자의 정책에 따릅니다.

개발자 운영 설정 서버는 공개 피드 설정을 제공·저장하도록 구현되어 있습니다. 해당 서버가 앱 사용자의 계정, 검색어, 팔로우 키워드, 읽기 기록 또는 사용자가 제출한 콘텐츠를 저장하도록 구현되어 있지는 않습니다. RSS 원문과 기사 링크는 각 뉴스 제공자의 콘텐츠와 정책을 따릅니다.

5. 광고와 개인정보 선택

무료 이용 화면에는 Google AdMob 배너가 표시될 수 있습니다. 광고를 초기화하기 전에 Google User Messaging Platform(UMP)의 동의 절차를 요청하며, 필요한 경우 앱의 개인정보 설정에서 선택을 다시 열 수 있습니다. 프리미엄 상태에서는 앱의 광고 배너를 표시하지 않습니다.

Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.4.0 및 UMP와 같은 Google 광고 구성요소는 제공자 기능에 따라 IP 주소, 제품 상호작용, 진단 정보, 기기·계정 식별자 등을 처리할 수 있습니다. IP 주소가 일반적인 위치 추정에 사용될 수 있으며, 실제 처리와 보관은 Google의 정책 및 사용자의 동의·설정에 좌우됩니다. 광고 선택은 Google 광고 설정과 UMP 화면에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

6. 프리미엄 구독과 결제

프리미엄 월간 구독의 상품 조회, 구매 흐름, 구매 복원과 활성 구독 확인은 Google Play Billing을 통해 처리됩니다. Google Play가 결제·구매 정보를 처리하며, 개발자가 카드 번호나 결제수단 상세정보를 직접 수집하지 않습니다. 앱은 구매 조회 결과와 필요한 구독 토큰 확인 절차를 이용해 프리미엄 권한을 정합니다.

7. 알림과 기기 권한

키워드와 일치하는 새 뉴스 알림은 프리미엄 기능이며, 기기에서 알림을 허용한 경우에만 표시됩니다. Android 13 이상에서는 POST_NOTIFICATIONS 권한을 별도로 요청합니다. 사용자는 시스템 설정에서 언제든지 알림을 끌 수 있습니다.

현재 앱이 선언하거나 요청하는 런타임 민감 권한은 알림 권한뿐입니다. 계정, 정확한 위치, 연락처, 사진·파일, 카메라, 마이크, 건강 관련 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.

8. 공유와 외부 열기

사용자가 직접 공유를 선택하면 Android 공유 시트로 기사 제목과 외부 기사 링크를 선택한 앱에 전달합니다. 사용자가 직접 열기를 선택하면 선택한 브라우저에서 링크를 엽니다. 이 동작에서 경제신문이 공유 내용을 개발자 서버로 업로드하지 않습니다. 공유받은 앱이나 뉴스 제공자의 별도 처리는 해당 제공자의 정책에 따릅니다.

9. Android 백업과 보안

앱 매니페스트에서 Android 백업(android:allowBackup="true")이 허용되어 있습니다. 기기와 Google 계정의 백업 설정, Android 버전 및 제조사 정책에 따라 Room·SharedPreferences의 일부 앱 상태가 백업되거나 복원될 수 있습니다. 백업과 복원에 관한 자세한 내용은 Android 자동 백업 안내를 확인하세요.

앱은 Android 앱 전용 저장영역과 플랫폼 권한을 사용합니다. 다만 어떠한 전송·저장 방식도 완전한 보안을 법적으로 보장한다고 약속하지 않으며, 운영체제·네트워크·외부 제공자의 보안 정책도 함께 적용됩니다.

10. 외부 제공자와 국외 처리

RSS 제공자, 피드 설정 서버, Google 광고·동의 서비스, Google Play Billing, Android 운영체제와 사용자가 선택한 공유 앱·브라우저가 각자의 역할을 수행합니다. 이들 제공자는 한국 밖의 지역에서 정보를 처리하거나 저장할 수 있습니다. 처리 지역과 보관기간은 각 제공자의 최신 정책을 확인해야 하며, 경제신문이 모든 외부 제공자의 보관기간을 정할 수는 없습니다.

11. 아동의 개인정보

경제신문은 아동을 주된 대상으로 설계된 서비스가 아니며, 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 보호자가 아동의 정보가 제공자에게 전달되었다고 판단하거나 확인이 필요한 경우 아래 연락처로 알려주시면 사실관계를 확인하고 가능한 조치를 안내하겠습니다.

12. 방침 변경

앱 기능, SDK, 권한, 외부 제공자 또는 데이터 처리 방식이 변경되면 이 문서의 내용을 함께 검토합니다. 변경 시 이 페이지의 시행일을 갱신하고 변경된 내용을 이 페이지에 게시합니다. 최신 내용은 언제나 이 문서에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

Business News Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 5, 2026. This policy describes the data processing and external provider roles observed in the current Android app named 경제신문 (package com.thirdtype.businessnews). Questions can be sent to thirdtype@nate.com.

1. Scope and account model

This policy applies to the Business News app and its feed, advertising, notification, and billing features. The app does not provide separate sign-up, login, or user-account features. It contains no separate analytics SDK, and it is not implemented to send followed keywords or reading history to the developer server.

2. Information processed and purposes

News articles RSS responses may provide source, title, description or excerpt, external link, image link, publication time, and the time the app fetched the item. The app uses these fields to show lists and article details and to remove older items.
Reading and reader choices The app stores read and starred state, hidden sources, followed keywords, the selected keyword, and per-keyword notification choices so the reader can tailor the feed and alerts.
Sync and configuration cache The last valid feed configuration, ETag, last sync time, and sync error state are kept in SharedPreferences so the app can retain its last known-good configuration during a temporary network failure.
Premium state The app uses the premium entitlement returned through Google Play purchase queries and shows the returned product price to determine premium access, sync cadence, and ad display.

3. Local storage, retention, and deletion

Article data is stored in the Android app-private Room database. Preferences and state are stored in SharedPreferences. Articles older than 7 days by publication time are cleaned up after being read; unread articles are cleaned up after 30 days. Starred articles are excluded from that automatic cleanup and may remain until unstarred or app data is cleared.

You can change source, keyword, and notification choices in the app. To remove all local app data, clear Business News storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. Android backup may allow some state to be restored, as explained below.

4. RSS feeds and remote configuration

The app requests publicly available RSS publisher feeds and a developer-operated public feed configuration endpoint. A feed server, network provider, or hosting service may receive ordinary request metadata such as an IP address, request time, and User-Agent while responding. Collection, retention, and use of that metadata are governed by the relevant provider's policy.

The developer-operated configuration server is implemented to provide and store public feed configuration. It is not implemented to store app user accounts, searches, followed keywords, reading history, or user-submitted content. RSS content and article links remain subject to the relevant publisher's terms and policy.

5. Advertising and privacy choices

Free screens may display Google AdMob banner ads. Before initializing ads, the app requests consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). When required, the app exposes the UMP privacy-options form again from its settings. Premium state disables the app's ad banners.

Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.4.0 and UMP-related Google advertising components may process an IP address, product interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers depending on provider features. An IP address may support general-location estimation. Actual processing and retention depend on Google's policies and the user's consent and settings. 6. Premium subscription and billing

Product lookup, purchase flow, restore, and active-subscription checks for the monthly premium subscription use Google Play Billing. Google Play processes purchase and subscription information; the developer does not directly collect card numbers or detailed payment-method data. The app uses the purchase-query result and the required subscription-token acknowledgement flow to determine premium entitlement.

7. Notifications and device permissions

New-article notifications matching followed keywords are a premium feature and are shown only when device notifications are enabled. Android 13 and later use the separate POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission. You can turn notifications off in Android system settings at any time.

The current app's only runtime-sensitive permission is notification permission. It does not request account, precise-location, contacts, photos or files, camera, microphone, or health-related permissions.

8. Sharing and opening external links

When you choose Share, Android sends the article title and external article link to the app you select in the system share sheet. When you choose Open, the selected browser opens the link. Business News does not upload the shared content to a developer server in this flow. The receiving app and publisher may process it under their own policies.

9. Android backup and security

The manifest enables Android 백업 with android:allowBackup="true". Depending on device and Google-account backup settings, Android version, and manufacturer policy, some Room or SharedPreferences app state may be backed up or restored. See the Android Auto Backup guide.

The app uses Android app-private storage and platform permissions. No method of transmission or storage is promised to be legally or absolutely secure; operating-system, network, and external-provider security practices also apply.

10. External providers and international processing

RSS publishers, the feed-configuration service, Google advertising and consent services, Google Play Billing, Android, and the sharing app or browser you choose each perform their own roles. These providers may process or store information outside Korea. Processing locations and retention periods are controlled by the relevant provider, so consult their current policies.

11. Children

Business News is not designed as a service directed primarily to children, and it does not intentionally collect children's personal information. If a parent or guardian believes that information from a child was provided to a provider, contact thirdtype@nate.com so the facts and available steps can be reviewed.

12. Changes

If app behavior, an SDK, a permission, an external provider, or a data practice changes, this policy will be reviewed and updated as appropriate. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes. The current version is always the version published on this page.
